Each year, there is a one day REU mini-conference that is held at a university in the northeast. Students from SUMRY have been regular attendees at the conference, discussing their research with fellow undergraduates from other institutions, as well as faculty. In addition to Yale, students from the following schools also have representatives: Amherst, College of the Holy Cross, Columbia, Fairfield, Mt. Holyoke, University of Connecticut, University of Massachusetts (Amherst), Smith College, and Williams College.
In July 2014, the conference was hosted by Yale on a beautiful and sunny day (see above). A conference poster is available here. You can find abstracts for the conference talks here and posters here. The mini-conferences in subsequent years were hosted by the University of Connecticut and Williams College.
